Mascot Engineering Paver Infill Covers have been designed so the access cover blends into it\u2019s surrounds.\u00a0 Our large range covers all applications, load ratings, sizes and is available in a range of depths to suit tiles, epoxy floors through to brick pavers.<\/p>\n

Typically used in urban environments as well as areas with high pedestrian traffic, our Paver Infill Covers allows the architectural surroundings to be the focus, rather than our cover.<\/p>\n

Paver Infill Covers<\/h3>\n

We set out to develop a steel access cover and frame with a deep dish\/pan to suit brick pavers for use in urban environments, however upon testing we found the steel didn\u2019t pass our quality audits.\u00a0 When installed, removal of the cover from the frame was difficult \u2013 the cover needed to be lifted vertically by two or more people (extremely heavy) and often warped once dislodged making it problematic to fit back into the frame.<\/p>\n

To overcome this issue, we reverted to ductile iron and designed a cover and frame system that suited brick paving and didn\u2019t bend or warp.\u00a0 In addition to this, we load test all our covers in an unfilled state \u2013 ensuring they meet the load rating requirements without relying on the infill material.<\/p>\n

Recently we added a gastight paver infill cover and frame to the range, allowing us to provide single, two, three, continuous trench runs and multipart covers all suitable for use with brick pavers.<\/p>\n

Security & Non-Rocking<\/h3>\n

All Mascot Engineering Access Covers require lifting keys to gain access, however they are also fitted as standard with a boltdown facility to help prevent unauthorised removal of the cover. The bolts are included and also allows our clients to fit additional security type bolts if required.<\/p>\n

Our range of gas and airtight iron covers are machine finished to their matching frame to extremely tight tolerances and if installed level and as per our instructions will be non-rocking.<\/p>\n\t

2 Part, 3 Part and Continuous Trench Run<\/h3>\n

Mascot’s range of heavy duty Gastight Paver Infill Covers can be arranged in any configuration to suit the requirements of your project. This includes single part, 2 Part, 3 Part, a continuous trench run, or a multipart configuration.<\/p>\n

Multipart Paver Infill Covers<\/h3>\n

Multipart units combine standard size Gastight Covers in multiple rows, generally when the clear opening exceeds 1200mm in both directions.<\/p>\n

Multipart Covers can be designed to suit all shapes and sizes based on your specification. The team at Mascot Engineering will design your Multipart Cover and provide the relevant engineering support as needed.<\/p>\n

Mascot Engineering\u2019s system relies on a number of \u2018rows\u2019 of covers divided by fixed or removable beams to achieve the desired clear opening. The beam size will depend upon the load rating as well as the beam\u2019s length. In all cases unless requested, beams are supplied cut to length and galvanised.<\/p>\n
