It’s a big year for us at Mascot… we’re celebrating our 90th year supplying the building industry and we’ve moved!<\/p>\n
After almost 50 years in Regents Park, we’ve moved to larger premises in Smithfield (yes, even further from our beginnings in Mascot) – under\u00a010 minutes from the M4 Cumberland Highway exit.<\/p>\n
The new premises have been designed to maximize production of our unique GRC products.\u00a0 Not only is the facility the first of its kind in Australia, but it’s the only one like it in the world.<\/p>\n
We’ve been manufacturing with Glass Reinforced Concrete for over 20 years and during that time, we’ve developed our own unique Mascot blend that’s ideally suited for pits, trade waste tanks, planters and our DriveDrain products.\u00a0 As Mascot GRC is manufactured in Australia, we’re making it for the harsh Australian environment. Essentially, Mascot GRC isn’t like other Glass Reinforced Concrete – therefore we can’t manufacture in a facility that’s like other facilities.<\/p>\n
Our new home in Smithfield brings production efficiencies and space… more production means more stock – which means you can get the products you want, when you want – not when we can.\u00a0 As well as our usual lightweight Glass Reinforced Concrete products, we now have stock of a larger range of Cast Iron Gastight Covers and Frames to suit all load ratings and have plenty of new products in the pipeline.<\/p>\n
